This design is inspired by the Japanese legend of the Kitsune, a cunning fox spirit which, according to some stories, comes into existence when foxes turn older than twenty years, developing additional tails over the centuries. Our representation of this creature, which can also be found in many other Asian cultures, comes slightly oval with nine tails encapsulating the centerpiece, a structured round plate with engraved Kitsunebis, little balls of fire the Kitsune is said to breathe to light their ways.

The ear weights are structured with a love for detail to emulate fur and remind us of old paintings.
