Queen of the Ashes is a jewelry brand founded in 2019. The brand focuses on ear weights and draws inspiration from punk aesthetics, a style that was difficult to find in the jewelry market. Motivated by their significant other, the founder decided to bring this unique style into the piercing industry.

Starting just before the COVID-19 pandemic, the brand faced challenges with growing its customer base due to global slowdowns. However, this period allowed the founder to refine and perfect their designs. Being based in Germany added complications, especially as local studios tend to invest more in gold, making it harder for smaller, niche brands to gain traction.

Despite these challenges, Queen of the Ashes found more success in the U.S. market, with their ear weights being particularly popular. The brand embraces exclusivity by offering limited-run designs, enhancing the collectability of its pieces. While maintaining accessible prices, they keep collections small and often sell out of certain designs, adding to their allure.
